My professional background includes over 20 years serving in the United States Marine Corps, and in a variety of leadership positions, to include over 6 years as an Environmental Coordinator, Hazardous Material / Hazardous Waste Control and Management Supervisor, and Ground Safety Manager. I was responsible for assisting the Safety Manager with identifying, assessing, and controlling hazards in all areas of operation throughout the Air Station. I assisted in advising the Group’s Commanding Officer on status of compliance with installation policies, local, state and federal regulations; and all aspects and procedures, as well as government safety, health and environmental standards and regulations. I also assisted the Commanding General with evaluating the effectiveness of Air Station’s safety, health and environmental programs, recommending improvements, and providing necessary training to personnel as required. Perform safety, health and environmental inspections with responsibility for assisting program managers and work center supervisors in fulfilling their responsibilities to the mission.

My administrative experience includes over 6 years of key leadership accountabilities working directly with local County, State, Federal, and International Governmental agencies. This is all combined with proven business knowledge, and a Bachelors of Environmental Science Program. My experience also includes working with numerous civilian contractors both nationally and internationally developing and validating solutions and improvements to environmental and safety issues. My experience additionally provides me with a solid base and understanding of problem and solution development, team building, and management with a focus on safety in a high operational environment.

Throughout my military career I developed the ability to establish and maintain effective contact and relationships with key leaders at every echelon of command from small units to Headquarters Marine Corps.

My loyalty, dedication, and proven ability to work with military and civilian professionals from many backgrounds and cultures within all environments are significant skill sets I will bring to the company.
